quanne2Spencer Crest Nature Center, Inc. in Corning NY is a not-for-profit organization providing environmental educational and recreational activities for the greater Corning area. The Center features 250 acres and 7 miles of trails with two ponds, a stream and a museum of natural systems which includes changing displays, an apiary and an environmentally sensitive design. We have one professional staff member as well as additional college-trained student guides, all supported by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of college faculty, staff, and other members of the community expressing an interest in environmental education.

The Nature Center Interpretive Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM until 3 PM, and the trails are open (you can bring your pet, too !!!) from dawn until dusk.
